About Me
- Tall Photographer
- I retired from the Auto Industry in the Detroit area and now make my home in sunny Arizona. I enjoy travel and photography. Although I often think of my photography as serendipitous; I really direct myself to places where those pleasant surprises are likely to occur. When I travel I call myself the "Happy Wanderer".

A Walk Around Scottsdale
We spent a getaway weekend in Old Town Scottsdale. The hotel rates are low during the off season and the rooms were great. It gets quite hot during the day (110 degrees), but the early morning is best for walking -- its cooler and there are fewer people around. The free trolley came right by our hotel and went to the big shopping mall and also around the Old Town area -- a great way to check out where to go later.
Hyatt Place ($65 a night). Great room and free breakfast. |
