Flew in to Hobart around noon and got my rental car. Rain the whole afternoon. Hobart streets are busy, narrow, and winding with lots of one way streets and dead ends – not a good town to drive in. Not very pretty in the rain – will have to wait for better weather before passing judgment. There is a casino on the outskirts of town – stopped in there to try it out – my $20 got eaten up faster than in the AZ Indian casinos – so much for that. Hostel seems nice, lots of space and big kitchen. Bed was comfortable – have room all to myself.
A history of the travels I make and the photos I take. I also like to take photos of interesting or humorous things I come across during the day, wherever I am. Click the PHOTO ALBUM INDEX link below to view photos in my various albums.

About Me
- Tall Photographer
- I retired from the Auto Industry in the Detroit area and now make my home in sunny Arizona. I enjoy travel and photography. Although I often think of my photography as serendipitous; I really direct myself to places where those pleasant surprises are likely to occur. When I travel I call myself the "Happy Wanderer".

Hobart looks better when the sun is shining.
The rain is interesting too though.
